It is in our power to take care of the environment and contribute our grain of sand with a simple action such as recycle the waste we generate in our home and closest environment. And, among all that garbage, the containers that are made of plastic take dozens of years to degrade and disappear.

What can we do? When we go down to leave the garbage, we must know which containers can be deposited in the yellow container and which cannot. Plastic bottles, food product protectors, shopping bags, cans of preserves or soft drinks should go in this storage. Not so magnetic tapes, toys, brushes, blinds or pvc pipes, among others.

Despite the fact that in our country we have advanced in the last decade in this regard and we demonstrate a greater awareness in recycling, the truth is yet we are light years away from countries like Germany. The German country, only in municipal waste, exceeded 65% of the recycling of urban waste according to Eurostat data from a little less than 3 years ago. The average in Spain is stagnant at 30%.
