Tomatoes or garlic: home remedies to eliminate calluses and calluses on the feet

The word callus is ugly, and not because we say it, but because the RAE defines it as a ‘very ugly person’, which, taken to the feet, is even more. And like everything else, we only like to show what is beautiful, therefore, we are going to give you some home remedies to make them disappear.

However, the first thing we have to clarify is that silence is not the same as hardness. The first, usually appears in the joints, is small, has a central area from which it grows in the shape of a nail looking for the bone and pressing on some nerve endings, which makes it hurt a lot. However, the hardness appears on the sole of the foot, it is larger, grows wide, has a yellowish color with a rough touch and does not hurt, normally.

According to Spanish Society of Medicine and Surgery of the Foot these conditions affect 70% of the Spanish population.

Both corns and corns, in addition to being unsightly, are sometimes annoying, especially when we have been standing for many hours or, in the case of women, when we wear heels.

  • Scrapers and cutters: they are used to cut and remove dead skin. They must be used with care as they can cause injuries.

To avoid corns and calluses, good hydration is essential, among other measures, since dryness and flaking favors the appearance of calluses, so it is important to keep your feet hydrated by applying a nourishing cream daily.

If your corns or calluses are very large, our advice is that you go to a podiatrist to treat them correctly.
