How to clean yellow deodorant stains and 9 other laundry tricks you didn’t know

How do our mothers keep our clothes in perfect condition season after season? There are tricks that are passed down from generation to generation to get rid of difficult stains, as well as to ensure that our clothes remain in perfect condition year after year. 1.- Shrunken clothes: If you have washed a garment with water a little hotter than you should and you have reduced its size, try placing it in a basin with water and hair conditioner for 30 minutes, you will see how it returns to its original size.

2.- Yellow stains from the deodorant: white shirts or t-shirts mainly tend to yellow around the armpits. This is mainly due to sweat and deodorant. There is a very effective trick that consists of mixing a tablespoon of liquid detergent, 3 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

3.- Wash the shoes in the washing machine: More than once you have thought while washing your sneakers that you were going to break the drum of the washing machine or the glass of the door with the blows. Well, there is a solution. Try hooking the cords at the top of the door to prevent them from circling inside.

4.- Fat stains: We have already talked in this section about many tricks to eliminate grease stains, however, we had not mentioned the chalk trick yet. It involves passing a chalk over the grease stain. Its ability to absorb will kill it easily.

5.- Pillow bleach: Another way to eliminate yellowish sweat stains, in this case, from pillows is by mixing water with a cup of laundry detergent and another of dishes, along with a cup of bleach or specific detergent for whitening clothes.

6.- Avoid ironing: If you want to iron less, our advice is to dry your shirts and more delicate clothes on hangers directly.

7.- Shower curtains: They tend to accumulate moisture in the lower part and mold appears. The best way to clean it is to put the curtain in the washing machine with a cup of white vinegar and a tennis ball.

8.- Finish off the pellets: There are times when a new sweater after a couple of washes looks old because of the pellets. Do not throw it away! There are electric machines to finish them off, or take a simple razor blade and run it over your sweater. You will finish off the pellets and it will look like new again.

9.- Static electricity: besides being unsightly, it is quite annoying. Static electricity appears when the garments rub against each other during the washing process, but if we introduce three balls of aluminum foil, we will be able to eliminate it in the simplest and most economical way possible.

10.- Remove wrinkles: if you have taken a long time to iron a shirt and wrinkles seem impossible. Try putting the shirt with a couple of ice cubes in the dryer. In this way, you will moisten it again slightly and with the help of the heat of the dryer, you will be able to make the wrinkles disappear.
